Humour is a funny thing: able to lift us up and provide a good laugh, especially now. Rather than an expendable extra, it is vital to our health and happiness. We are social beings, and sharing a laugh through good and bad allows us to connect and cope. A powerful vehicle for critique, it can also address wrongs or inspire change. We can overcome, as long as we have humour.
